PFT World Adds New Quality Inspection Equipment to Improve Tolerance Control for Tight-Tolerance Projects

This includes a new coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and a digital optical comparator, significantly enhancing our ability to measure complex geometries and tight tolerances with greater speed and accuracy.

Many of our recent projects require tolerances as tight as ±0.005mm, especially for aerospace and automotive clients. Our new CMM can measure every critical dimension with an accuracy of 0.001mm, ensuring that both we and our clients can confidently rely on every part meeting the specified requirements. We’ve also digitized all inspection data, providing easy access to inspection records for every batch.

Since introducing the new equipment, our outgoing defect rate has dropped by nearly 50%, and we’ve reduced the time it takes to inspect complex parts by 40%. This not only improves quality but also helps us speed up delivery.
